Deloitte Consultancy to draw up 'Strategy for the development of Smart City Bucharest'

Bucharest, March 30 /Agerpres/ - The City Hall of Bucharest (PMB) awarded on Thursday the contract for drawing up the 'Strategy for the development of Smart City Bucharest' to Deloitte Consultancy, shows a PMB release.

According to the winning bid, the value of the contract will be 464,280 lei, without VAT, with a 17-week service provision period from the starting date of the project.

By implementing the Smart City Strategy, Bucharesters will benefit from adequate public transport infrastructure and roads, quality services through modern infrastructure, access to quality education, quality medical services, including through online systems, jobs, public safety, reducing CO2 and pollution and reducing energy imports.

In Romania, Deloitte is one of the largest professional services companies on the market and provides, in cooperation with other partners, audit, legal, advisory, risk management, outsourced service solutions and technology consulting and other related services through over 1,100 professionals.

On December 22, 2017, the PMB posted on the Electronic Public Procurement System (SEAP) the simplified participation announcement for launching the procedure for contracting 'Strategy for the development of Smart City Bucharest'.
